Geo-cache-ing
Well, my wife has decided to get into geo-caching. If you read the Pelt blog much you know that Jason has long been a proponent of the excitement of searching for treasure unknown. Under his influence Annie told me that she thought today - which was a beautiful January day- would be a great day for our family to take our first geo-caching trip. I suggested that maybe she should try the first round herself and sent her out for the afternoon with a location and a compass. Haven't seen her back yet!

Geocaching with a map and a compass can be done but it works much better with a gps. Consider the Garmin GPSMap 60CS. Remember just because your name is Garman doesn't mean you are a Garmin.
