stress

I checked out a bunch of children's books from the library about moving to prepare the girls for the upcoming transition. If only it were as simple packing all of our stuff to go to a new house like all of the stories. Every item in the house requires a decision: will we NEED/want this in Iceland? Will we need this for the next two months in training? Is it worth it to keep this is storage for two years? Will we ever use it again? If I do get rid of it, will we just have to spend money to replace it in two years? Where the heck are we going to be in two years? Would someone benefit from using this while we're gone instead of storing it for two years? My head hurts with every closet I clean out. For example, when I cleaned out the girl's room yesterday I found both of their umbilical cords preserved in a small container. Okay, bad example...

you can probably trash the ham for christmas, keep the furniture and the girls cords, you better keep those!!! I have sydneys (Shauna doesn't know) It's reminds me that she is no longer attached to her and she is equally mine... Just throw it all away and I will have a house party when you get back!!!! much love to the garmans!!!

1. THROW THAT AWAY!!! SICK
2. regardless of if you think you need it, im sure your going to want something new in two years. everything you own will be partially outdated.
3. If you cant let go, store it.

simple one-two-three in a blog post. who needs a book?!

I can completely identify with your tough decisions, having moved five times in ten years. Good luck!

Jason, EVERYTHING has sentimental attachment...What is a girl supposed to do? We had to condense our life into three closets...please forgive me....

I understand that in the end no "thing" really matters and I know, I really do, that you had to "lighten the load." I guess it just kind of hurt to actually read it. Oh well, I hope you are having fun in Richmond, Jackson prayed for your family last night.
